Fee Structure

At Bennett Mahoney, we believe in providing transparent and straightforward fee structures to our clients. Depending on the nature of your case and following an initial consultation, we offer three primary fee arrangements: Fixed Rates, Hourly Rates and Contingency Fees. Below, we've outlined each option to help you understand which might be best suited to your needs.

Fixed Rates

A Fixed Rate fee structure means that you will be charged a predetermined amount for the entire legal service related to your case. This rate will be agreed upon after our initial consultation. This structure is best for straightforward cases with well-defined tasks and clear outcomes. It's also great for clients who prefer financial predictability and a clear budget.

Hourly Rates

An Hourly Rate fee structure means that you will be billed based on the actual time spent by our legal team working on your case. Our hourly rates will be discussed and agreed upon during our initial consultation. This structure is best for complex cases that require extensive research, negotiations, or litigation. It's also great for clients who prefer a more flexible approach and ongoing support throughout their case.

Contingency Fees

Contingency fees are a type of payment arrangement often used in legal cases where the Solicitor's fee is contingent upon the outcome of the case. In other words, the Solicitor only gets paid if you win your case or achieve a favorable settlement. Under a contingency fee agreement, the Solicitor’s fee is typically a percentage of the total amount recovered in the case. This percentage can vary, but it is usually agreed upon in advance and outlined in a written agreement.
